Over the Garden Wall

Well, this started out as a picture I drew of Beatrice like last year. It was just going to be transparent background, keeping it simple. Then, I decided to redraw her and was like 'maybe I should add Wirt in there (gotta practice drawing dudes more)', so I added him in. After that I inked it and was like 'it's still kind of plain', so I added the border I used on my Creative Writing class portfolio. Still wasn't happy, so I added Jason Funderburker, the lanterns, and the background.
By then it was like 2 am and I was like 'omigod it's gorgeous. please sleep'.

I'm one of those cliches who got obsessed with all those cartoons (you know the ones). In 2014, I stumbled upon it by chance just as I did with the Gravity Falls premiere and ended up being like 'this is great. what the heck'.
